- Synopsis- Bid Opening date scheduled for May 28, 2015 at 2:00 pm EST. Pavement Report Categorical Exclusion Form (NEPA) FP03_Eng IFB Solicitation PRA-MACA 102(1) VETS-100A-Form ADV_Bidder's Qualifications Form FP03 Errata Plans_PRA-MACA 102(1) Sealed bids from certified Small Business Concerns only will be accepted for the Mammoth Cave National Park Project PRA-MACA 102(1), Solicitation Number DTFH71-15-B-00023, located in Edmonson County, Kentucky. The project consists of the rehabilitation and resurfacing of Cedar Sink Road and the Cedar Sink Trailhead Parking Area within the Mammoth Cave National Park. The work includes asphalt pavement milling, select roadway embankment reconstruction with earthwork geotextile stabilization, full-depth pavement patching, crack cleaning and sealing, Superpave asphalt concrete pavement overlay, steel-backed timber guardrail replacement, drainage repairs and improvements, and other miscellaneous work. The project will be split into multiple work schedules/contract options, with the cost of the entire project expected to fall within the price range of $1,000,000 to $2,000,000. Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division is issuing a combination of the synopsis and solicitation, the bid due date will be reduced based upon this. All bid documents can be directly downloaded from these websites. Documents will no longer be mailed. Register to receive Email Notification to automatically be notified when a document is added or updated for a specific project. If firms do not register as an interested vendor at the Federal Business Opportunities website, there will be no Plan Holders List. Annual Representations and Certifications FAR 52.204-8 (Dec 2014). The Representations and Certifications must be filled-in online at http://sam.gov/. The required Annual Form Vets-100 must also be filled-in online at http://www.dol.gov/vets/vets-100.html per FAR 52.222-37. The DOT's Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $750,000 with interest at the prime rate. PLEASE NOTE For security reasons, individuals requiring access to the EFLHD must present a valid photo ID and be escorted to their destination by a Government employee. Due to new security provisions, all visitors attending bid openings are urged to arrive at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled bid opening. All visitors must register with the receptionist in Room 100. A Government employee will collect the bids. Prior to bid opening, a Government employee will escort all bidders to the bid opening. Unescorted visitors will be denied entry and no exceptions will be made.
