For check-in purposes, please ensure you have an extra business card to provide to the Government on the day of the event. PEO EIS appreciates your interest in the CHESS Industry Day. The Industry Day session will follow the principles identified in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.201, quote mark Exchanges With Industry Before Receipt of Proposals. quote mark The objective of the Industry Day is to provide a better understanding of the Army's mission, objectives, constraints, and technical environment so that prospective offerors and their team members may determine whether they are able to satisfy the Army's ITES-3S and ADMC-3 requirements. Industry Day will begin with opening remarks from PEO EIS, Mr. Douglas Wiltsie, and CHESS Project Director, Mr. Thomas Neff. Remarks will be followed by ADMC-3 and ITES-3S briefings by the CHESS Product Leaders and Army Contracting Command - Rock Island Contracting Officers. A question and answer (Q&A) session will follow each of the briefings. In order to allow sufficient time for questions and answers it is recommended companies submit questions ahead of time. Questions for consideration should be submitted through the CHESS IT e-mart at https://chess.army.mil/Static/EventCalendar no later than 1300 EDT, 27 May 2015. The questions posed should not be related to the Source Selection Teams, their roles or responsibilities. If your question is not addressed during either Q&A session, all responses to questions submitted electronically will be posted to FedBizOpps at a date following Industry Day. The government assumes no responsibility for any representation made by any of its officers or agents during the session. Questions received and Government responses furnished during the session are unofficial. Government representatives have been instructed to answer to the best of their ability and knowledge. The session will not be recorded, but notes will be taken to ensure that questions requiring response have been properly documented. The requirements and strategy as stated during this session are all subject to change as the acquisition evolves; therefore the companies shall rely on the Final RFP of each requirement.
