Description

Single Source Justification US Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District for Englebright Lake Law Enforcement Services Contract # W91238-15-P-0039 1. Contracting Activity: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Contracting Division CESPK-CT Sacramento District 1325 J St., Sacramento, CA 95814 2. Description of Action- This will be a limited source "Firm Fixed Price" purchase order. The required services are for Law Enforcement services at Englebright Lake in Nevada County, California. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and supplies and transportation necessary to provide law enforcement services for Englebright Lake, Smartsville, California, to include the perimeter of the lake and when necessary, lake surface. 3. Rationale or Circumstances for Limiting Competition- The Nevada County Sheriff and Nevada County Sheriff's Department is the sole, State authorized source for non-military Law Enforcement for lands within Nevada County. Authority Cited: Title 36 (CFR), Part 327; Far 5. 202(a) 14 and EP 1130-2-550. 4. Market Research (MR)- Market Research was not conducted as the Nevada County Sheriff Department is the sole provider for law enforcement in the unincorporated areas of Nevada County, including Englebright Lake and the surrounding area. 5. Total Amount of the Contract- Base Year and 4 Option years: $59,643.45
