Description

AMENDMENT #2 See the following question and clarification: QUESTION: The specification for the Food Service Equipment is Section 11 40 00. In 1.02 General Instructions to Bidders it instructs that the food service equipment is to be installed by the KEC (Kitchen Equipment Contractor). It does not tell us if this is a contractor hired by National Park Service, the concessionaire or the general contractor. The full set of Food Service drawings is included in the bid documents. They however do not address who is contracting with the KEC either. The only indication of NIC (not in contract) is in the Equipment and Utility Schedule on sheet FS2-0 under the Other Information. This is also in conflict as item B10 - Under Counter Dishwasher is marked as NIC but included in the specification under Food Service Equipment Brochures. The question I need answered is "who hires and contracts with the KEC?" CLARIFICATION: All the equipment to be installed by the contractor is shown on Sheet FS2.0, refer to the column on the right. Equipment labeled as NIC is not required to be provided or installed by the contractor. The equipment not labeled as NIC is to be installed by the contractor or a subcontractor hired by the contractor. Under counter dishwasher is NIC, and will be provided and installed by others. No additional information provided via Amendment No. 2
