Description
Map of State Department Posts Travel Management Center Services - Sources Sought/Request for Information Transportation and Travel Management (TTM) is seeking Travel Management Center (TMC) services for the U.S. Department of State in Washington, DC to include all domestic USA ticketing, as well as for its 250+ Embassies and Missions around the world. Additionally, we are looking for information on TMC services to fulfill all Global PCS travel centrally, which may be solicited as a stand-alone TMC requirement outside of ETS2. The estimated volume of PCS travel is 7,000 orders per year (Note: Orders can be for an individual and/or with spouse and/or with family. PCS usually have multiple locations such as from losing post to gaining post with stops for home leave, consultation, training etc.). A Global or Multi-Regional approach would likely include, but not be limited to, capabilities to provide the following: • proposed operational set-up for a fulfillment (call/reservation) center(s) • Management Information Systems Data delivery • implementation of the On-Line Booking Engine (OBE) http://www.gsa.gov/graphics/ogp/Gsa_Center_For_Travel_Management_R2-z71L_0Z5RDZ-i34K-pR.ppt • communication process for requesting cost construct travel (ordering tool) • communication process for travel not booked in the OBE • quality control plan • measuring customer satisfaction • ability to provide on-site, security cleared, travel consultants where needed Proposed fulfillment centers could be set up by Bureau or region. TTM recognizes it is very difficult for industry to provide on-site, qualified U.S. Government trained travel agents in all of our overseas 250+ locations. However, a regionalized approach would likely be more economical and could be the best way to meet our TMC needs. The purpose of this Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) is to gather information that will assist TTM in evaluating vendor capability of meeting its TMC needs, which includes communicating ideas through point papers, white papers, etc. We are seeking out of the box thinking and innovative ways of providing Global or Multi-Regional Solutions to fulfill our travel requirements.
