- Fort Meade Driving Directions and Map Fort McNair Map Fort McNair Driving Directions Purpose: The SETI Industry Day is an opportunity for interested contractors to gain a thorough understanding of the technical engineering requirements presented in the performance work statement on FedBizOpps, posted 19 March 2015. One-on-one sessions are available as an opportunity for contractors to engage with DISA personnel and deliver feedback or ask questions. Objective: To obtain ample information; to collect and analyze for market research purposes. Industry Day and One-on-One Sessions Registration Instructions: The SETI Industry Day will be held on Monday, 1 June 2015 at the National Defense University (NDU) Auditorium at building #62, 300 5th Avenue, Washington, DC 20319 (Ft McNair Base). The Industry Day Event will begin at 9:00 a.m. Eastern and is expected to last until 1:00 p.m. Eastern. Prospective Offerors must register by submitting the following information no later than 12:00 p.m. Eastern on 19 May 2015 to disa.meade.PLD.mbx.seti-requirement@mail.mil. Use Email Subject: SETI INDUSTRY DAY REGISTRATION Include in the body of the email: Legal Name(s) of Attendees & Titles (No more than five attendees may attend the event) Company/Division Name & Address Point of Contact (Legal Name, Telephone Number, and Email Address) The follow-on from Industry Day for One-on-One Sessions will be held 2-4 June 2015 at the Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Headquarters, 6916 Cooper Avenue, Fort Meade, MD. If you wish to have a one-on-one session with DISA personnel, contractors must register by submitting the following information no later than 12:00 p.m. Eastern on Friday, 19 May 2015 to disa.meade.PLD.mbx.seti-requirement@mail.mil. Sessions are limited to the first 100 contractors. Use Email Subject: SETI ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS REGISTRATION Include in the body of the email: Legal Name(s) of Attendees & Titles (No more than two attendees may attend the one on one session) Company/Division Name & Address Point of Contact (Name, Telephone Number, and Email Address) Please be aware that all attendees must be pre-registered for SETI events and will not be allowed to enter the Fort McNair Auditorium or Fort Meade (DISA HQ) if they are not on the SETI Registration List and do not have the proper photo identification (ID). If you wish to attend both Industry Day and One-on-One Sessions, please submit two separate emails as instructed above. Driving Directions to Fort McNair (Day 1): Please see attachment "Fort McNair Driving Directions" Gate Access to Fort McNair: All visitors will use the 2nd Street Southwest entrance to access the installation. Please have a photo ID ready if you are a non-DoD affiliate. Parking at Fort McNair: Parking is available on the installation. Please see "Fort McNair Map" Parking is also available outside the installation, at the Marc Parc Lot which is directly across the street from Lincoln Hall. It is $5 a day to park in this lot. Auditorium Location at Fort McNair: The auditorium is located in Lincoln Hall (see map). Upon entering Lincoln Hall, the sign in desk is to the left. Please have appropriate photo ID ready and sign in prior to entering the auditorium. Badges will be given out to participants. Please note that food and beverages are not allowed inside the auditorium. Anyone bringing in food and beverages will be asked to leave. Driving Directions to Fort Meade (Days 2, 3, and 4): Please see attachment "Fort Meade Driving Directions and Map" Parking at Fort Meade: Parking is available on the installation. Please see "Fort Meade Driving Directions and Map" One on One Session at Fort Meade: Please park and enter the Command Building. The Command Building is on the east side of the compound and will have the DISA logo in the front of the building. Please see "Fort Meade Driving Directions and Map" for more information on the Command Building. Please check in with security. An escort badge will be provided to you. A representative for SETI Industry Week will be there to sign in candidates after they have checked in with the security desk. If you have not registered and do not have photo ID, you will not be allowed to participate in the one-on-one sessions. Prohibited Items at the DISA Facility: Wireless devices are not allowed inside the DISA Facility.
