Description

THIS IS A SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. NCO10, 2780 Airport Drive, Columbus, Oh 43219, is performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified firms in Ohio for a single selling Agreement. The Government will use responses to this notice to make an appropriate Selling Agreement decision. The requirement is for a contractor to buy and remove Government Scrap Metal and Pallets located at the Chillicothe VAMC at 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601. Services will include but not limited be to removing various types of Scrap Metal and Wooden Pallets from the Medical Center will be required to pick up and remove the scrap within 10 days of notification. All interested firms who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, with information describing their interest, capabilities, geographic location to the Contracting Officer Michael Hayes at Michael.Hayes6@va.gov and to Laura Cozad at Laura.Cozad@va.gov, no later than 4:00 p.m. (Mountain Time), May 11, 2015, Solicitation# VA259-15-B-0192. Scrap Metal & Pallet Selling Agreement has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. The NAICS Code 423930 is applicable to this acquisition; the size standard is 100 employees. The anticipated period of performance will be a one time agreement and will end after all items are removed after 10 days of notification. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract.
