Description

The United States Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) has a requirement repair and provide preventive maintenance to the 5kv automatic transfer switch, IQ Analyzers, IQ Transfer, and automatic transfer switch gear located in building 5 at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital. Description of Services: Contractor is to provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials to repair and provide preventive maintenance to the existing 5kv automatic transfer switch at building 5. Contractor will replace existing non-functioning Eaton IQ Transfer with a new Eaton ATC-600 and program. Replace two non-functioning IQ Analyzers with new IQ Analyzer 6610's and program both. Perform preventive maintenance on the existing 5kv automatic transfer switch gear and it's components including breakers. Verify automatic transfer switch is in working order with a utility load transfer test. Contractor is responsible for all safety equipment needed to perform this work. This procurement is set aside for a 100% small business concerns. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238210; Small Business Size Standard is $15 million. It is anticipated that award will result in a single award firm-fixed price contract. This is a standalone contract for commercial services. Award will be made based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable responses. All responsible offerors may submit an offer for this requirement. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Offerors may obtain information on registration in the SAM at https://www.sam.gov. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available at Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at www.fbo.gov on or before April 30, 2015. All service disabled veteran owned small business must be CVE registered. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation may be accessed electronically only via the FedBizOpps website. Offerors are responsible for routinely checking the FedBizOpps website for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. Proposals will be due May 15th 2015 by 12:00 P.M. CST.
