Description
Modification 1: Extend Response Date (There are no other changes.) Description: This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. The Regional Contracting Office for the 414th CSB in Vicenza, Italy will use the responses to this notice to determine potential responsible vendors capable of providing the services described herein. BACKGROUND: The purpose of this procurement is to provide annual inspection and required certification of fourteen cranes and it's crane cables. The cranes are located on Caserma Carlo Ederle and Del Din located at U.S. Garrison Vicenza, Italy. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Inspection of cranes (fourteen each at eight locations) will be executed at the U.S. Army Garrison Vicenza, Italy with the following locations: Caserma Carlo Ederle and Del Din. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The Contractor shall provide all management services, supervision, personnel, labor, vehicles, materials, tools, supplies, transportation, general, specialized equipment and all other items. This also includes any weights required for the loading test. The service required is to conduct annual inspections on crane and its cables with follow on cable inspection every three months at U.S Garrison Vicenza, Italy. This is a total of four inspection services per year. This service includes the provision of weighs to perform load test for calibration of cranes. The total number of cranes is fourteen each. The type of crane is a bridge crane plus cable with range in loads of 250 Kg, 500 Kg, 1 Ton, 5 Tons, 10 Tons and 35 Tons. All work performed under this contract shall be in accordance with all applicable and current United States and Italian laws, policies, codes, and regulations, including but not limited to Italian commercial practice standards. This includes, but not all inclusive, the following: D.Lgs.93,2002, D.M.07/01/2005 and Circolare Ministeriale Interno P1564/4146 del 29.08.95. This also includes any required certification by engineers licensed in Italy to perform the required service. Contractor shall perform services from 0800 to 1700 Monday to Friday with exception for stated United States and Italian holidays. TYPE OF CONTRACT: The U.S. Government will award a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The Government intends to award firm fixed price contract for one (1) base year and four(4) option years. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333923. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: It is requested that interested vendors submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating the ability to perform the services listed above. In order to deem the vendors' responsibility, such package shall include the following documentation: 1. Certificato Camera di Commercio (Certificate of the Chamber of Commerce) NOT older than six (6) months at the time set forth for the receipt of the source sought inquiry. Self certifications are NOT allowed. 2. SAM Registration. In order to register on SAM website ( https://www.sam.gov ), vendors must have a DUNS number ( obtainable on http://dbitaly.dnb.com ) and a NATO code (obtainable www.dlis.dla.mil/forms/form_AC135.asp). The successful offeror to be awarded this contract MUST be currently registered in the SAM database. The capability statement package must be sent by email to MAJ Van Isra at van.p.isra.mil@mail.mil. Submissions of interest must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. Central European Time (CET) on 11 May 2015. All responses must be in English.
