Description

This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Syracuse, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about the May 18th, 2015 for Renovate 1st Floor Corridors at the Syracuse VA, Project No. 528A7-14-706. This project proposes to renovate the main corridors on the First Floor of the Syracuse VA Medical Center located at 800 Irving Ave, Syracuse, New York. The renovation is a halls and walls beautification to include new flooring in these areas. All corridor flooring will be removed to include all existing VCT, vinyl cove base, all adhesives and the demolition of any existing terrazzo base. The floors and base will be prepped with approved products and all floors will be flash coated from corner to corner and wall to wall filling in all voids and creating a new surface to receive new terrazzo tile flooring and vinyl cove base per drawings and specifications. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses'. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $36.5 M. The cost range is $100,000 to $250,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.
