- Description
- 1.0 SYNOPSIS NOTICE: This is a synopsis for a proposed contract action and instructions to gain access to the Bidder's Library for the Automatic 3D Part Report Generation (A3DPRG). This proposed contract action is anticipated to be a total small business set-aside under NAICS 511210. The solicitation is anticipated to be posted on FBO on 18 May 2015. 2.0 PROGRAM DETAILS: The purpose of this effort is to provide the A-10 System Program Office (SPO) with the software that will provide the ability to create and modify 3D Part Reports for engineering and provisioning data from 3D Model Based Engineering (MBE) Computer Aided Design (CAD) models and associated engineering data in the A-10 Teamcenter Product Life-Cycle Management (PLM) database. These part reports are essential to satisfying the mission requirements to support the A-10 Enhanced Wing Assembly (EWA) created under the A-10 Wing Replacement Program (WRP) and the A-10 throughout its lifecycle. The A-10's WRP contract created 3D Part Reports as part of the 3D CAD technical data package. The A-10 SPO, as the Engineering Authority (EA) for the A-10, must be able to modify and update existing 3D Part Reports or create new 3D Part Reports when this data is delivered to the AF. Under the A-10 WRP, over 10,000 part reports have been generated to define the 3D technical data packages for the EWA. 3.0 DELIVERY SCHEDULE: The anticipated delivery schedule for the proposed contract action is 12 months. 4.0 BIDDERS LIBRARY INSTRUCTIONS: Those parties anticipating submitting a proposal to the RFP will need access to the Bidder's Library. The Bidder's Library contains data necessary to respond to Sections L and M, Subfactor 2, Product Performance Demonstration. The distribution of the data is authorized and restricted to DoD and U.S. DoD contractors with a valid DD Form 2345. 4.1 To gain access to the Bidder's Library please follow the instructions below: a) Complete DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement located at the link, http://www.dlis.dla.mil/JCP, and send to the appropriate office listed at the top of the form. The process may take up to 5 working days for approval. b) After the form is signed by the DoD official and returned, send the completed form with a request for Bidder's Library CD to Michael Anderson, michael.anderson.161@us.af.mil, no later than 15 May 2015. c) A Bidder's Library CD will then be mailed.
