Description
Network Contracting Office 11 will be soliciting offers for annual and quarterly testing on fire protection systems. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, test equipment, parts and labor to perform annual and quarterly testing on the fire protection systems at the Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. The systems include three dry systems with flow alarms, drains and control valves; one dry system off-site with flow alarms, drains and control valves; and eight fire hydrants; one fire pump with jockey pump, control valves and regular valves; and one pre-action system with valve, initiating devices, control valve, drain and pressure switches. Request for Quote (VA-251-15-Q-0318) will be issued on or around May 11, 2015. Anticipated award date is June 22, 2015 for a period of one year with four one-year option periods to be exercised at the government's discretion. No telephone requests will be honored. The government is not responsible to make available paper copies. Questions must be submitted in writing to the contracting officer. If contractors submit questions, they are strongly encouraged to do so within three calendar days after the issuance of the solicitation. Verbal questions will not be addressed. All responses to questions which may affect offers will be incorporated into a written amendment to the solicitation. Offerors are encouraged and are responsible for routinely checking the web site for any solicitation amendments that may be issued throughout the bid period. No individual notification of amendments will be provided. Offer due date and time will be included in the solicitation document. This is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The NAICS code for this requirement is 561621. The size standard is $20.5 million.
