- Parts List Redacted J&A This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number is N68335-15-R-0083 and is issued as a Request For Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-76. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334112-ADP Support Equipment, with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. This requirement is a limited competitive Brand name only procurement among the OEM, EMC Corporation and their authorized distributors, no set aside preference, under the authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. FAR 13.5 procedures. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst has requirement to procure multiple EMC branded products such as Isilon Data Storage Unit with deduplication, a Data Domain Data-Deduplication backup unit, Networker Backup application licenses as well as software support services. The current RDT&E network backup infrastructure, which is used to perform automated backups of the existing server infrastructure, consists of the EMC Networker application and the EMC VNX-5300 Network Attached Storage (NAS) hardware. The new system will be used to stand up a high availability Disaster Recovery (DR) and Continuity of Operations (COOP) site which is required for accreditation per DoD Instruction 8500.2, Information Assurance (1A) implementation. This also provides redundancy to allow resource sharing and resolve many requirements with a single solution. Standardization is key to ensuring this interoperability across NAVAIR. The contract line items for the requirement are as follows: **See attached parts list** Requested delivery of the EMC equipment is 02 June 15. Inspection and Acceptance is to be at Destination with delivery FOB destination, Patuxent River, MD 20670. New equipment only, no remanufactured or "gray market" items. Proposal must be valid for a minimum of 60 calendar days after close of solicitation. All changes to the solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed.
