- MICC-Fort Benning is seeking information ONLY on small businesses that are capable of providing Vacation Bible School Curriculum and trainers that will provide five Vacation Bible School sessions, each lasting up to 2 hours on 20-24 July 2015. The curriculum should involve the memorization of key stories and themes in the Old and New Testaments. Students participating all week should come away with an understanding of the complete story of Salvation History. The method of instruction should be high-energy and interactive. The contract shall include all materials, which should be specifically designed for children ages 5-12 and suitable for a group of up to 300 children. Theologically, the material should fall within the confines of the historical Christian creeds while being acceptable to the diversity of Trinitarian Christian congregations across post. The government is interested in setting this requirement aside for a small socio-economic group within the small business community. Please identify all categories in which your company qualifies (i.e., HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB, SDB, etc). This announcement is to request information for planning purposes only. This is not an announcement of a solicitation. Responses to this notice will assist the government in identifying potential sources, in determining if a set-aside of a solicitation is appropriate, and in determining whether or not this approach to securing contracting support is practicable. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the MICC-Fort Benning to the ultimate acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement and request for solicitation will not receive a response. This Source Sought Notice is to support of market research being conducted by MICC-Fort Benning to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling this requirement. MICC-Fort Benning requests information in regards to which firms would be interested in competing for this acquisition. If there are no interested parties the Army will seek to procure the services through a sole source vehicle. We request documentation in which a convincing argument is made as to your willingness to compete for the requirement, your capability to provide the service, and the feasibility to the U.S. Army as to any recommendations that you make to enhance the competitive nature of this action. Submissions should include a sample of the curriculum and a suggested training outline for the overall program. References of previous customers should be included. Contractors responding to this sources sought notice shall provide MICC Fort Benning the following information which includes: Company Name, point of contact information and email address, business size, and socioeconomic status. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541990, All Other Professional Services. Place of Performance: Fort Benning GA 31905-5000 The Contract Type is anticipated to be a total set-aside for Small Business. Your response shall include the following information: size of company (i.e., 8(a), HUBZONE, WOSB, EDWOSB, Veteran Owned, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, etc.). The government reserves the right to set this acquisition aside for Small Business firms based on the responses it receives. No proposals are requested by this announcement; all responses shall be solely in the form of information and materials. Relevant past performance on same/similar work for not more than three years and your company's capability and capacity to do this type of work. Documentation of capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. It is imperative that business concerns responding to this source sought articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.GOV), prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in SAM.GOV will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. No telephone request will be honored.
