Description

The United States Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) has a requirement to provide annual preventive maintenance, inspection and repair services for 54 Automatic Transfer Switches and 1 paralleling gear located at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital. Description of Services: The contractor shall provide all labor, travel, materials and the necessary equipment to provide annual preventive maintenance, inspection and repair services for 54 Automatic Transfer Switches and 1 paralleling gear. Contractor shall maintain Automatic Transfer Switches and paralleling gear equipment to meet operational requirements. Contractor shall provide all materials, supplies and or components necessary to perform required services. Services must be performed in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and industry standards. This procurement is set aside for a 100% service disabled veteran owned small business concerns. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238210; Small Business Size Standard is $15 million. It is anticipated that award will result in a single award firm-fixed price contract. This is a base year contract with four (4) option years for commercial services. Award will be made based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable responses. All responsible offerors may submit an offer for this requirement. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Offerors may obtain information on registration in the SAM at https://www.sam.gov. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available at Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at www.fbo.gov on or before May 8th, 2015. All service disabled, veteran owned small business must be CVE registered. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation may be accessed electronically only via the FedBizOpps website. Offerors are responsible for routinely checking the FedBizOpps website for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. Proposals will be due May 21th 2015 by 12:00 P.M. CST.
