Description
Updated RFQ instructions Question/Answers The Bureau of Labor Statistics, contemplates issuing on a competitive basis, a firm fixed price purchase order for the purpose of a proposed establishment-level survey to be conducted as part of the National Compensation Survey under contract with the Social Security Administration. The purpose of the survey is to collect the following information on occupations in the U.S.: vocational preparation, cognitive requirements, physical requirements, and environmental conditions. As part of this effort, research is currently being conducted within the Office of Compensation and Working Conditions (OCWC) on data validity and reliability. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; submissions are being requested and an additional written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DOL-BLS-15-Q-00018 for this requirement. This solicitation is issued under FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation is to provide services in accordance with the specifications in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Please see the attached statement of work (SOW) for specific requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 541720. The small business size standard is $20.5 million, though this solicitation is being competed as Unrestricted. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Alt 1 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, Alternate I applies. Offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Also in accordance with the clause, all prospective Offerors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management prior to award.
