- The Naval Air Systems Warfare Center, eapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure, on an other than full and open competition basis, a 12 month, Firm Fixed Price contract to C&H Hydraulics for the F-5 Power Supply, Rev. S, P/N 220-507, NSN 6130-00-441-7695HY. This model is commercially available. This requirement is for the Airborne Threat Simulation Organization (ATSO), whose primary function is to provide threat detection/countermeasures systems for use in the Test and Evaluation of Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs) and Fleet training programs. The F-5 Aircraft provides power unique to any other aircraft, a very specific power supply (Part Number 220-507) is required to adequately convert the AC power to DC power. The proposed contract action is for the manufacture, testing and delivery of a quantity of (20) for the F-5 Power Supply for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all capability statements received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N68936-15-T-0153 and clearly show the firm's capability, background, experience and assets necessary to perform the required work tasks mentioned above without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of this acquisition.
