Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11, is hereby soliciting offers to provide all parts, materials, software upgrades, labor, service and support necessary, to perform preventive maintenance and unlimited emergency repairs on the Government Owned ASTRO 25-K-CORE Police Communications system, dispatch equipment and Motorola APX 7000 hand held portable radios, located at the VA Ann Arbor Medical Center, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 and the Toledo Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), 1200 South Detroit Avenue, Toledo, OH, 43614. The Contractor shall meet the certification requirement in accordance with the requirements contained in the solicitation Statement of Work (SOW) and Price/Cost Schedule. The contract is for the period from June 1, 2015 to May 31, 2016 plus four (4) one (1) year option (s) period (s) (if exercised). The VISN 11 Contracting Office anticipates entering into a Fixed Price contract that can provide the best value to the Government. Contract awards will be made on a best value basis. The evaluation factors will be: Technical Capability, Past Performance, and Price. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 811213 with a business size standard of $11.0 million. All potential bidders MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and show as "Active." The registration in SAM is a requirement in order to conduct business with the Federal Government. The solicitation will be issued electronically and will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities website https://www.fedbizopps.gov. No Fax or email Bid Packages shall be accepted. The solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website on or about May 5, 2015. NOTE: No phone, fax or e-mail inquiries will be taken for this Pre-Solicitation Notice.
