- SCOPE OF WORK AND GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR _Spiration IBV Valves_ 1.Background: The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) Gastroenterology section is requesting the completion of the two remaining procedure rooms (room 5 & 6). This equipment will be needed to open the two remaining GI endoscopic rooms to assist in patient access and the backlog that we are working down. In FT14 we sent over 1,000 fee-base consults outside the Houston VA for completion. Having this equipment will enable our procedures to be seen within 30-60 days of request and to eliminate fee-basis for these procedures. 2.Project Scope: The overall price of this project is $187,994.05. 3.
