Description

The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting quotes from qualified and eligible small business concerns for a firm fixed priced purchase order under Request for Quotation (RFQ) VA786-15-Q-0211for replacement of one (1) each air handler and one (1) condensing unit. The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, tools, parts, equipment, transportation, taxes, and incidentals needed for replacement of said equipment at Baton Rouge National Cemetery located at 220 North 19th Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70808-3155. Quotes in response to the RFQ can be emailed to derek.reed@va.gov, or sent to The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, 155 Van Gordon Street, Lakewood, CO 80228. Quotes must be received by no later than close of Business (4:30PM MT) June 1, 2015. Facsimile proposals will not be accepted. The period of performance is forty-five (45) calendar days from receipt of written notice to proceed. The estimated magnitude of construction is less than $25,000.00, and a bid, payment and performance bond are NOT required. Purchase order award will be made to the lowest priced, responsive, responsible quoter. The NAICS code is 238220, and the Small Business Size Standard is $15.0M. Prospective quoters are encouraged to contact the Cemetery Director, Mr. Maurice Roan at 225-654-1988 to schedule a walkthrough and/or site-visit. All solicitation documents will be posted electronically to www.fbo.gov by May 20, 2015. No hard copies of the RFQ will be issued. In order to be eligible for purchase order award offers must be registered and have an active account in www.sam.gov. Questions regarding the RFQ may be emailed to the Contracting Officer; Mr. Derek C. Reed at derek.reed@va.gov. Please reference the solicitation number on all correspondence emailed to the Contracting Officer. All responsible sources may submit a quote in response to this announcement that may be considered by this agency.
