Description

Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 intends to release Solicitation VA259-14-R-0472 for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) on behalf of Veteran Integrated Service Network (VISN) 19. This solicitation will require contractor to store and deliver assigned durable medical equipment to include supplies, materials, equipment, transportation of equipment, equipment services, labor, supervision, patient education, safety management, infection control, as necessary for veterans. Occasionally, the contractor may be required to store excess equipment through adequate warehouse space as per the requested amount of the supported facility. The purpose of this contract will be to provide DME services 24 hours per day, 365 days a year. VISN-19's area of responsibility covers all Department of Veterans Affairs Beneficiaries residences in designated counties within the states of Colorado, Montana, Utah, Wyoming some counties in Nevada, Nebraska, Idaho and North Dakota. The intent for this contract is to meet or exceed the requirements for a base year with four option years from date of contract award to the end of the contract period. VISN 19 includes six (6) VA Medical Centers and an estimated twenty four (24) associated Outpatient Clinics located throughout the states of Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and portions of Idaho, Nebraska, Nevada, Kansas, and North Dakota. Award from this solicitation will be set-aside for Small Business contractors. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 532291, Home Health Equipment Rental; size standard in number of employees is 500. This will be a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract with a base period of one (1) year plus four (4) one year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The government anticipates awarding a single award, but reserves the right to award multiple awards if determined in the best interest of the government. All qualified small business sources are encouraged to submit a proposal. Questions should be directed to the Contract Officer at the email address listed below.
