- This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a request for quote (RFQ) or a request for proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified businesses relative to the NAICS code 532120. The Small Business size standard for this NAICS code is $38.5M. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this project, the Government may use responses to this sources sought synopsis. Large and Small Businesses are invited to answer this market survey and provide their contact information to determine market capabilities. Hurlburt Field FL is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential sources to provide Street Sweeper Vehicle Leasing. The potential requirement will consist of: LEASING REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall provide a regenerative air system street sweeper that must contain a pick-up head to pick a wide variety of street debris from light trash and leaves to heavy dirt, gravel, and sand; at lease an 7 cu. yard hopper with a payload of 10,000 lbs.; left and right gutter broom to remove debris from curbs and gutters; dust control system to control the dust; an auxiliary hand hose for cleaning out storm drain catch basins, sumps, fence lines, and tight areas; and must be in good working condition. The Government will maintain the day to day maintenance on the street sweeper; daily cleaning of the sweeper and changing the gutter brooms when needed. Any major repairs needed or if the sweeper is not in good working condition the sweeper company will replace it at no cost to the Government. Delivery shall be made to Hurlburt Field, Florida, 32544. This request may not directly lead to a Request for Quotation/Proposal.
