- Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Fort Hood, TX intends to award a sole source purchase order to Century Link, a large business, for the procurement of the service and installation of 12 Ethernets and 12 Circuits at Fort Hood Sleep Lab with two option years. This acquisition is conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a Single Source. The Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available due to only one responsible source and no other service will satisfy agency requirements due to proprietary rights and licensing. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 517110 Wired Telecommunications Carriers with the size standard of 1,500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding within 15 days after the date of electronic publication of this synopsis. All responses must be provided no later than 10:00 am CST 21 May 2015. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
