Description

The Naval War College, Strategic Studies Group intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price level of effort contract to Movescapes Center. The anticipated level of effort will be 348 hours and the period of performance will be from date of award to 31 Dec 2015. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c) (1) pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the product or services needed by the agency are available from only one responsible source or only from a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of property or services will satisfy the needs of the agency. A determination not to compete this proposed contract is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the government. As evidenced in the sole source justification provided by the requiring activity and attached there is only one contractor that has the specific qualifications that meet the peculiar requirements of this contract.All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be posted on or about 6 May 2015 with a closing date of 31 May 2015.The NAICS code is 541720 and small business size of $20.5M.
