Description
Davis Bacon Wages Maps, Log and Drawings Specifications AG0356S150021 SF1442 Z- Nez Perce CDNSTrail Reconstruction on the Butte Ranger District Project Location and Directions. To get to this project take I-15 North of Butte to the Elk Park Exit No. 138. Turn right or south at the Exit onto the Frontage Road. Take an immediate left onto the Nez Perce Road and travel along this road 3 miles to the Nez Perce Trailhead. The work begins at the Nez Perce Trailhead. The trailhead is accessible by passenger car. Although this project lies directly off the interstate early snow could prevent viewing the end of the project by late October. Description of Work. This project will construct much needed drainage features along an existing trail located off of the Elk Park Exit just north of Butte. The trail is currently a single-track motorized trail that was constructed in the early 2000's. The trail has not received significant maintenance in several years, and the switchbacks are all rutted and will need to be reconstructed. There is a significant amount of rock in this area, and non-certified rock blasters are not encouraged to bid. Equipment Requirments. All tools and equipment shall be furnished by the contractor. Excavators shall be limited to a maximum 39-inch track width. 2-wheeled motor vehicles are allowed for construction purposes only, such as transportation of employees and materials. 4-wheeled motor vehicles are not allowed. When not on site, keep valuable tools hidden from the trail. A blasting plan (including copy of Montana Blaster license holder) is required at time of quote submission. No formal site visit will be held. Contractors should inspect the site on their own. Construction Magnitude is $25,000 to $100,000 Performance Period is from July 1, 2015 thru September 30, 2016. No work can be done on site from 10-1-2015 thru 06-01-2016. Complete solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted to this site in approximately 15 days from today.
