- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, is conducting market research to identify existing commercial products and sources to provide equipment meeting the requirements stated in the attached Description of Requirement. This is not a Request for Quotes or Proposals, but instead a market research method to identify products available and interested sources prior to determining the acquisition method. Respondents are requested to provide: (1) Detailed information about existing commercial products (including necessary and reasonable modifications) which will meet the stated requirements. (2) Anticipated manufacturing and delivery lead time (number of calendar days) after a contract is awarded. (3) Information regarding its small businesses size status (to include status as an 8(a), HUBZone, VOSB, SDVOSB, WOSB, EDWOSB, etc.). The applicable NAICS code is 334310 with a size standard of 500 employees. ( 4) Information regarding any existing DOD, GSA, other federal agency contract(s) which includes the products offered, and which may be available for the Army to place an order against. A determination by the Government on the method of acquisition for this requirement has not been made. The Government will not award a contract based on this Sources Sought Notice or the information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide. Information provided is strictly voluntary. Electronic responses are preferred, and hard copy documents are highly discouraged. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice. Information provided will not be used as a part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. Responses are requested no later than 2:00 PM PST on Monday, 18 May 2015.
