This information is for planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Subject: Sources Sought for the performance of project Mill Creek Levee Vegetation Removal in Walla Walla, Washington. Point of Contact: Cyndi Jacobsen, Contract Specialist, 509-527-7203, cynthia.h.jacobsen@usace.army.mil Description of the Requirement: This work is to perform vegetation maintenance by removing all existing woody vegetation from specified zones on the federal portion of the Mill Creek Project Levees. These zones cover less than 6 acres and include the landside slopes and a vegetation clear zone which extends 15 feet landward from the levee landside toe. The vegetation to be removed includes all large trees and understory vegetation within the specified zones. The federal portion of the Mill Creek Levees are located in Walla Walla Washington beginning at the Diversion Dam in Rooks Park and extending downstream roughly one mile and ending at the west boundary of the mill creek project lands near the main office. The work involves cutting all of the woody vegetation flush to the existing ground surface, disposing the vegetation at designated disposal areas located within the Mill Creek Project boundaries and completing repairs to all areas of the levee cross section damaged by the removal process. Include a statement detailing any special qualifications and certifications, applicable to the scope of this project, held by the company (6)A statement or list of the company's current and/or past technical experience similar to or the same as the summary scope of work for this requirement. Include a brief description of each project scope, schedule, and dollar value. Please provide citations of technical reports or other scientific literature resulting from past experience as applicable. (7)Indicate if your company can perform at least 51% of the work in accordance with FAR clause 52.219-14 Limitations on Subcontracting.
