- Description
- The US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) has a requirement for Medical Instruction and Support Services for the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Medical Courses offered by the Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center (JSOMTC), US Army John F Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School. The anticipated period of performance is a 12 month base year with two (2) one-year options. The primary place of performance is Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The requirement is for medical instruction, as well as services to support the classroom instruction and facility. The contractor shall provide instruction in all the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Medical Skills Sustainment Course (SOCMSSC) and Special Operations Combat Medic (SOCM) /Special Forces Medic Sergeant (SFMS) Courses offered by the Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center (JSOMTC), US Army John F Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, US Army Special Operations Command. The Contractor shall teach all classes identified in strict accordance with the Program of Instruction (POI) and lesson plans approved by the Government. An estimated 3(three)Advanced Medical Instructors(AMI) and 44 Special Operations Forces Paramedics (SOF-P) Instructors are required to support this requirement. This requirement is 100% set-aside for 8(a) certified small businesses. The NAICS code is 541990 with a size standard of $15 million. The estimated release date for the solicitation and start date for receipt of proposals is 27 April 2015.
