- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number for this requirement is W912J2-15-Q-3002. The Volk Field Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC) is soliciting quotes for the cleaning, repair, and paint of one (1) KC-97 aircraft located at Volk Field CRTC, 100 Independence Drive, Camp Douglas, WI 54618. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK. The anticipated award will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. Per FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items, the Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: BEST VALUE TO THE GOVERNMENT (COST AND TECHNICAL EQUAL). The government intends to award a contract without discussions with respective offerors. The government, however, reserves the right to conduct discussions if deemed in the best interest of the government. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The NAICS code is 488190 and the size standard is $30,000,000. Schedule of Supplies/Services: CLIN 0001: Complete restoration of the KC-97 static aircraft IAW attached SOW This notice is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
