Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul District has a requirement to install new electrical service and upgrade the existing electrical service at the Crosslake Recreation Area campground in Crosslake, MN (Crow Wing County). The work includes but is not limited to the following: Install new electric service and upgrade the electric service as required to feed: 14 new 50-amp pedestals to campground sites 1-13 and site 15, and 5 future 50 amp sites. Install 14 new 50 amp pedestals for sites 1-13 and site 15, remove overhead line and re-feed south security light from site 13 underground and balance panel board circuits for all electrical campground sites. The contractor may determine the balancing of campsite pedestal circuits, however, no one circuit shall have more than five campsite pedestals applied to it. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business under NAICS 238210 with a small business size standard of $15M. This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. This is a notice that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price contract is intended to be issued via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in the near future. The specifications will be detailed in the solicitation. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Quotes will be due approximately 14 days from the date the solicitation is issued, however, the 14 day time frame is an estimate and subject to change. The definitive quote due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued. No CD's or hard copies will be available. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced page for any update(s) to the Notice. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the document posted at the referenced website. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management (SAM). All Offerors must be SAM registered prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished, at www.sam.gov.
