- Sludge The 918th CBN / Mission and Installation Contracting Command- Fort Carson, CO intends to the issue a solicitation for the Sludge Removal Services for the Directorate of Public Work (DPW) at Fort Carson, CO. The services shall include servicing include cleaning out, testing and disposal of sludge materials from the motor pool wash racks/sand traps/sewage spills/ and oil-water separators for 45 different locations on Fort Carson. The NAICS code for this procurement is 562998 with a size standard of $7 million. This will be a 100% Total Small Business Set-aside. The Government anticipates a solicitation release date on or about 30 April 2015 with a closing date of 15 May 2015 days after the solicitation is released. All Question are due by 11 May 2015 @ 0900. The period of performance will be dependent upon the actual closing date of request for proposal. It is anticipated that entire solicitation, including the Performance Work Statement, Performance Requirement Summary, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan, Wage Determination, and Technical Exhibit will be made available only on the Army single Face to Industry (ASFI)https://acquisition.army.mil at that time. Interested offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. In order to receive award of a contract, contractors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database or their proposal will not be considered. Contractors can obtain further information on the SAM website at https://www.sam.gov This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or multiple contracts nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs. All parties are advised that this solicitation may be revised or canceled at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and final award.
