- Attachment B- Tax Liability Brand Name Justification SOW This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for Evaluations and Solicitation for commercial items-as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) announcement constitutes the only solicitation that will be issued. This solicitation is conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Government contemplates a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is NWWN9938-15-01840. This synopsis/solicitation constitutes a RFQ and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-81. The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), Eastern Region (ER), Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in Gray, Maine, requires office systems furniture, cabinetry, design, delivery and installation services supporting the office administrative and operations areas at the Weather Forecast Office, Gray, Maine. This is a 100 percent Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337214, Office Furniture (except wood) Manufacturing, which has a corresponding size standard of 500 employees. The Product Service Code is 7110. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside. Quotes received from large businesses will not be accepted. All quotes shall be FOB Destination to: National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office 1 Weather Lane Gray, ME 04039-1208 The following FAR clause is provided in full text: FAR clause 52.212-2, EVALUATION--COMMERCIAL ITEMS (OCT 2014) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. (b) The contractor shall notify employees that the prohibitions and restrictions of any internal confidentiality agreements covered by this clause are no longer in effect. (c) The prohibition in paragraph (a) of this clause does not contravene requirements applicable to Standard Form 312, Form 4414, or any other form issued by a Federal department or agency governing the nondisclosure of classified information. L. 113-235), use of funds appropriated (or otherwise made available) under that or any other Act may be prohibited, if the Government determines that the Contractor is not in compliance with the provisions of this clause.
