Description
The National Park Service (NPS or Service) issued a Prospectus on May 7, 2015 under the terms described in the Prospectus. The soliciting for proposals is in response to a business opportunity to operate lodging, food and beverage, retail service, and other related services at Lodgepole Village, Wuksachi Village, and Bearpaw High Sierra Camp within Sequoia National Park. Pursuant to 36 C.F.R. Part 51, the Director has determined that there is no preferred Offeror for the Draft Contract. In order to provide interested parties an opportunity to observe the operation during the operating season, the NPS hosted a one day site visit on October 9, 2014 prior to the release of the Prospectus. There will be no additional site visits under this solicitation. The Service has posted a Pre-Solicitation Summary of CC-SEKI004-16 Operations on the National Park Service Commercial Services external website with additional information. The summary can be viewed here http://concessions.nps.gov/news_seki004-16_site_visit.htm. Hard copy Prospectus packages are available by contacting Chris Fryday, Commercial Services Financial Analyst, Pacific West Region, via email to chris_fryday@nps.gov or by phone at (415) 623-2226. There is a printing cost recovery charge of $50 for prospectuses delivered via Federal Express, or $40 if picked up in person. Checks or money orders (no cash or credit cards or debit cards accepted) must be payable to the National Park Service. You must include a business address for delivery via Federal Express (no P.O Boxes). The Prospectus is also available online at no charge, at http://www.nps.gov/commercialservices/. If you choose to retrieve a copy of the Prospectus from the NPS website, please notify Chris Fryday so you are placed on the mailing list to receive notifications of any future modifications or other correspondence. Questions related to the Prospectus must be received in writing via email to Chris Fryday at the email address above by May 28, 2015. Any proposals must be received by the National Park Service, Pacific West Region, Attn: Commercial Services Office, 333 Bush Street, Suite 500, San Francisco, California 94104 no later than 4:00 PM (Pacific Time) on September 8, 2015.
