- This work effort is being solicited for all certified small business contractors under NAICS code 562910 with a size standard of $20.5M. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic is seeking all eligible small business firms capable of completing the required service package for the subject acquisition. The work includes the painting one U.S. Navy F-14 Tomcat Static Display Type Aircraft at the Naval Support Activity - Philadelphia, PA. RFP# N40085-15-Q-7544. Estimated contract value: $25,000-$100,000.00. The acquisition will be processed using procedures in accordance with FAR part 13. Description of Work: Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment and supervision to paint one U.S. Navy F-14 Tomcat Static Display Type Aircraft. The work includes removal of all existing paint down to the bare metal, insignia ™s, logos, etc. from the static display and resulting rubbish and debris. Rubbish and debris shall be removed from Government property daily, unless otherwise directed, to avoid accumulation at the project work site. All work shall be performed in accordance with EM 385-1-1. This project has an expected Period of Performance of 45 calendar days after the date of Contract Award. Solicitation Info: This will be a firm fixed price service type contract. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format via the internet. The free Acrobat Reader, required for the PDF file, can be downloaded from the adobe website. The official access to the solicitation is via the internet and the address is http://www.neco.navy.mil. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the Navy Exchange Commerce Online (NECO) website. Only registered contractors will be notified by e-mail when amendments to the solicitation are issued. In accordance with the provision found at FAR 52.204-7- System for Award Management Registration (August 2012) (DEVIATION), all potential offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database. Lack of registration in the SAM database on the part of the offeror will make an offeror ineligible for award. All contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM.
