- Description(s): This is a pre-solicitation notice. The Forest Service contemplates issuing a solicitation for Request for Proposal (RFP) to perform maintenance for the safe operation and accessibility at the Twin Peaks radio repeater site. The scope of work includes: • Remove existing unsafe timber helicopter landing pad. • Construct rock aggregate helicopter landing pad. • Remove existing inactive radio equipment and associated foundation. • Move existing propane tanks to Craig Ranger District and remove existing timber propane tank pad. Solicitation (AG-0116-S-15-0027) will be advertised on or about Friday, May 22, 2015 on the FedBizOpps website: A total small business set-aside is anticipated. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237130, with a size standard of $36.5 million The period of performance is anticipated to be 150 days after a Notice to Proceed is issued. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000.00. Interested concerns should monitor the FedBizOpps website to stay up-to-date on any amendments or other information that might be provided here.
