- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) requires the services of a small business that is an authorized reseller of EMC maintenance and services. The EMC authorized reseller must be able to provide preventive EMC maintenance services for storage equipment, brocade switches, remedial maintenance services for storage equipment and assistance in relocating EMC government owned equipment to multiple data centers within Social Security Administration?s (SSA) field offices. SSA anticipates awarding Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a period of performance consisting of a base period and four one-year ordering periods. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Codes (NAICS) are 517110 and the size standard is 1,500 employees. This acquisition is conducted under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 regarding the acquisition of commercial items and Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. This requirement is being set aside 100% for small businesses. Proposals received from other than small business concerns will be deemed unacceptable and will be given no further consideration. Amendment 4 is being issued to revise the award determination that is listed in Attachment 6 - Evaluation Criteria. All other solicitation information remains the same.
