- Map of Project Area This project is to mechanically treat approximately 307 acres to support wildlife habitat restoration; the preferred treatment method is by hydro-axe. GPS coordinates will be provided. The allotted time for contract performance is sixty days from notice to proceed. All work shall be performed on the Ouray Ranger District of the Uncompahgre National Forest in Montrose County, Colorado. This project is being advertised as a total small business set-aside and as such is open to all qualified small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 115310 and the small business size standard is $7.0 million. The solicitation for this project will be available only through the Federal Business Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted in writing to Jay Tobin at jtobin@fs.fed.us. All Offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management ( www.sam.gov ) database to be eligible for award. Offerors must respond to all instructions in Sections B, K and L of the solicitation to be considered responsive. Offerors that fail to meet these criteria may not be considered for award. A pre-proposal conference is not planned. A map of the treatment area is being issued with this notice to allow prospective offerors the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the project area. The anticipated date for issuance of the solicitation is on or about May 22, 2015. The due date for submission of proposals will be identified on the solicitation.
