- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTATION OR AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF A SOLICITATION. This is a sources sought request for information (RFI) for the purpose of conducting market research to provide data for planning purposes. This sources sought synopsis announcement does not constitute a formal solicitation and is not a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid, nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, issue a solicitation, reimburse respondents for any proposal preparation and/or submittal costs, nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Air Force Test Center, Installation Operational Contracting Division, Eglin AFB, Florida, is seeking potential sources that have the capability and/or are certified to and have worked on various aircraft sunshades manufactures by Big Top Shelters. Interested contractors must demonstrate a history of relevant experience and include a summary of their performance history in servicing or erecting aircraft sunshades SPECIFICALLY MANUFACTURED BY BIG TOP SHELTERS. CAPABILITY STATEMENTS The Government requests that all interested parties submit the following information: (a) Company's Information - Point of Contact, Name, Address, Phone Number, Email, and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code; (b) Type of Business - Status, and Size [e.g., 8(a), HUBZone-certified small business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned small business, small business, large business, etc.] Size standard to be based on NAICS Code 332311, Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing; (c) All instances of relevant experience identified by contract/project number, project title, dollar amount, point(s) of contact with telephone and email information, and in what capacity (e.g., prime contractor, subcontractor, etc.) the business performed. Submission of this project information should provide the Government a complete understanding of your company's capability to repair, maintain and/or construct aircraft sunshades SPECIFICALLY MANUFACTURED BY BIG TOP SHELTERS; and (d) Any other relevant information. Please limit responses to ten (10) pages.
