- ***FBO RESPONSE DATE HAS BEEN UPDATED TO CORRESPOND WITH AMENDMENT 03, NO OTHER CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE*** This is a request for proposal (RFP) for the demolition of Building 830 located on Hill Air Force Base, with a performance period of 180 days. All demolition work shall comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and contract requirements. Building 830 shall be completely demolished from top to bottom of existing footings. All extra fill left over from demolition of building 830, unless otherwise instructed by the Government, shall be hauled off and disposed of within requirements spelled out in the contract. In addition, the removal of asbestos and lead based paint is required for the building. The award will be made to the responsible contractor who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable approach. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm fixed priced contract. All Contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 238910 with a size standard of $15 million. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. All responsible small businesses may submit a quote. The estimated period of performance will be 180 days. This is a Request for Proposals (RFP) with procedures outlined in FAR Part 15. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available. This website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. ***NOTICE TO OFFEROR(S)/SUPPLIER(S): FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS EFFORT. NO AWARD WILL BE MADE UNDER THIS SOLICITATION UNTIL FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGH TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION, EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE CLOSING DATE FOR RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS.
