- DESCRIPTION: NSN 2510-01-626-4650 - "Installation Kit, Vehicular Equipment Components" being bought in accordance with approved Government drawings. The required quantity is 7,080 each, to be shipped to Susquehanna, PA (W25G1U). FOB Origin and Inspection/Acceptance at Origin is required. The solicitation will include a 100% option that may be exercised at the time of award, or by 14 days prior to final delivery, at the Government's discretion. Based on Market Research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capabilities to satisfy the Governments requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The solicitation for this part will be unrestricted. This solicitation will be available or about 05/25/14 at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rf. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards if, after considering the additional administrative costs, it is in the Government's best interest to do so. If awards will be made to more than one source, the offer that represents the best value to the Government shall receive not less than 60% of the total requirement. The required delivery for quantity of 7,080 each is 300 days, which includes the time for both a Government and Contractor First Article Test (FAT). One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. Notice: This solicitation contains DLAD Provision 52.215-9023 for Reverse Auction (RA). The Government reserves the right to activate this provision after timely offers have been received and evaluated. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.
