Description

This FBO entry under VA118-15-R-0163 is to answer questions submitted by industry. The questions are as follows: 1.Does VA require that the printers are PIV supported or that the Color Large Duty Printer and Monochrome Large Duty Printers have installed operable card readers with the device at delivery? Answer: Printers shall have installed operable card readers with the device at delivery, not merely the capability for an add-on. 2.Is it possible that this effort, which can have up to three awardees, can result in printers from One Original Equipment Manager? Answer: Yes. Regardless of the proposed brand, in accordance with Request for Proposal, Section E.13, Basis for Award, winning offerors will be the three lowest price, technically acceptable proposals. Theoretically, three winning offerors could propose the same brand. The three winning offerors could also propose different brands.
