Description
Construction Project entitled Dworshak Powerhouse HVAC Upgrades. This will be a firm fixed-price construct contract located at Dworshak Dam (Clearwater County, Idaho). Estimated construction magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000; and 100% performance and payment bonds will be required. The construction completion date is anticipated to be by no later than June 30, 2016. Summary Scope of Work: Work is to upgrade existing industrial HVAC system in the Dworshak powerhouse. There will be demolition of some of the existing duct and then furnishing and installing new duct work. Upgrading key sub components of existing system including the following: fans up to 50,000 CFM, air handlers, and water coils; existing pneumatic control system to a digital control system that is compatible with Lonworks control protocol; existing water pumps (up to 20 HP) for the cooling pumps; existing control valves and damper actuators; existing electric resistance heaters up to 350kw. New air handlers, water coils and electric resistance heaters may require customization to fit in the space available for installation and to meet contract requirements. Solicitation Number W912EF-15-B-0017 will be posted to the FBO website on or about May 22, 2015. The solicitation will be an Invitation for Bids. Bids will be due no sooner than 30 calendar days after actual solicitation issuance date. The solicitation is unrestricted and open to both large and small business concerns. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $15,000,000 in average annual receipts. When released, the solicitation documents for this project will be available via www.fbo.gov. NO CD's OR HARD COPIES WILL BE AVAILABLE.
