Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) to The Boeing Company, St. Louis, Missouri on a sole source basis for one (1) GCU PSE Test Set that includes two (2) each P/N 74D420503-1001, 74D420505-101, and five (5) each P/Ns74D420512-1003, 74D420513-1007, 74D420523-1001, SEV9107G2, and 117-1C301 required to upgrade I-Level Aircraft Engine Component Test Stands that are currently used to test the F/A-18 GCUs at various locations. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 3204 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the data rights. A competitive drawing package for this effort is not available. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
