Description
A15PS00504 Project Schedule Amendment No.: 0001 is for Solicitation No.: A15PS00504 is as follows: To provide questions to answers received. 1. Where exactly must the material be delivered to on Navajo Route 251? Government ¿s Response: The Aggregate base course will be dumped directly on the roadway on the prepared subgrade (that FAS will be preparing). 2. Does the project have a start and stopping point on Route 251? Government ¿s Response: Navajo Route 4, mile post 42.1 is where the project begins, it loops around and ends at N4 milepost 48.1 3. Is the material for constructing a continuous section of road, and if so what are the start and stop mile markers? Government ¿s Response: The project is 15.6 miles long, the vendor will be hauling in material and dumping all along the route as we prepare the road for the gravel. I plan to get 3 miles ready, gravel that and then do another three miles, etc. The Base Course will not be delivered in one shot but in sequences. 4. Will the material be delivered throughout the year for maintenance, and if so will there be a minimum tonnage involved on these orders? Government ¿s Response: See above... 5. Do you have a response timeframe on these material orders? Government ¿s Response: We should have the first three miles ready by late august... 6. Project timeline: what is the expected duration of the project? Government ¿s Response: The end date of the project is June 2016 but it's going to go past, possible into the fall. 7. Can we expect to deliver our material to the site on a daily basis? Government ¿s Response: The material will be delivered in sequences as we prepare the grade. 8. Daily requirements: what is the projects daily minimum required quantity of material delivered to the site? Government ¿s Response: There will be at least 5 instances of delivery, 12000 tons or so each delivery 9. Will we have the ability to stockpile material on-site? Government ¿s Response: No stockpiling, you can lose up to 10% of the material by stockpiling. 10. Project schedule: normal business hours 7am ¿ 5pm M-F 5 days a week, 8 hours per-day? Please provide the project schedule. Government ¿s Response: Schedule attached.
