- This solicitation contains the Scopes of Work and Bid Schedules for each. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Chicago District issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for a combination of 1) Concrete/Grout, 2) Sand, 3) Add mixture and 4) Portable Power Silo for the Calamet Harbor Timber Crib Breakwater Structure located in Calumet Harbor, Chicago, Illinois. This work will be accomplished by the Crane Barge Manotowoc and its crew. This project will consist of FOUR (4) requirements. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) codes - 327320/Cement, 212321/Sand, 325998/Add mixture and 332311/ Portable Power Silo. This requirement is set-aside for small business. This solicitation includes FOUR (4) price breakout schedules. Award will be made to the lowest priced offeror for each Price Breakout Schedule. Multiple awards may be made. As few as one or as many as four separate purchase orders will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Offerors are not required to bid on all price breakout schedules; however all items including options need to be bid on for a specific schedule to be eligible for award for that schedule. SEE ATTACHED SOLICITATION AND PRICE BREAKOUT SCHEDULES. Proposed quotes are due to Ms. Cheryl A. Michener by May 20, 2015 @ 11:00 am est. Quotes can be e-mailed to cheryl.a.michener@usace.army.mil. All contractors are required to be registered in System for Award Managment (SAM) before award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the SAM accessed through https://www.acquisition.gov or by calling 866-606-8220.
