The briefings will be followed by a tour of the installation to provide information to include: * TYADs C4ISR capabilities * Lean/Sigma Six Model * Live Fire Test Simulator * Radar Maintenance and Test Facility * Depot Maintenance of the Future * Electro-Optics/Night Vision Testing and Repair Facility * Cable Fabrication Shop * Test Program Set Repository * Specialized Industrial Operations * The way to create enduring partnerships More detailed information is provided in the attached Registration Form and tentative Agenda. Additional information on the TYAD Industry Day may be found on the TYAD website: http://www.tobyhanna.army.mil. All speakers are confirmed at date of posting but all are subject to variability as the event approaches. In order to plan the event the special notice requests that industry vendors and partners provide a completed copy of the Registration Form via e-mail to: usarmy.tyad.usamc.mbx.industry-day@mail.mil. The government assumes no responsibility for any representation made by any of its officers or agents during the session. Questions received and Government responses furnished during the session are unofficial. Government representatives have been instructed to answer to the best of their ability and knowledge. The session will not be recorded, but notes will be taken to ensure that questions requiring response have been properly documented. The requirements and strategy as stated during this session are all subject to change as the acquisition evolves; therefore the companies shall rely on the Final RFP of each requirement. TYAD looks forward to meeting with and assisting you as you develop long standing partnerships with the depot! Additional Information: There is limited space available for participants, therefore, registration will be reserved on a first come-first serve basis based on receipt of registrations. The Government will respond to company registration requests with confirmation of space being reserved or not available. Due to minor construction and normal depot flow traffic at the main gate, please allow sufficient time for processing to preclude tardiness. Parking is available in The Landing parking lot with some overflow in the Commissary and Exchange parking lot across the street; however, parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis. All attendees must be US Citizens. All attendees must have a valid US driver's license. The driver of any vehicle should carry the appropriate rental papers, insurance documents, and vehicle registration. Please see http://tobyhanna.army.mil for visitor information. Visitors are required to enter the base through the Scranton Gate (Main Gate) entrance, located off of Interstate 380. Visitors are required to enter the Visitor Control Center in order to be processed. Attendees will then be directed to The Landing. No photo, audio, or video equipment is allowed in the building. No video or audio recording will be permitted. Cell phones and pagers shall be turned OFF while participating at the TYAD Industry Day.
