- Basewide Custodial J&A Notice of Intent to Exercise the Option to Extend Services on contract FA4855-10-C-0018 (Basewide Custodial Services) THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Per FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, the Government intends to exercise the Option to Extend Services in contract FA4855-10-C-0018 (Basewide Custodial Services). Option to Extend Services was included in the contract, but not evaluated at time of award. Therefore, in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Award to any other source would result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. A follow-on contract is currently being worked, but will not be accomplished before the current expiration of this contract. The Option to Extend Services will be for a period not to exceed two (2) months and will be to the incumbent Nambe Pueblo Development Corporation (33 B Arroyo Cuyamungue, Santa Fe, NM 87506) to continue to support Basewide Custodial Services. The current contractor possesses the required experience, based on supporting operations for the entire duration of the program, to ensure mission success while the follow-on competitive contract (FA4855-15-R-0001) is being worked. As stated previously competition is expected for the follow-on effort. The Government will post notices regarding that acquisition to FedBizOpps.
