- Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI) Technical Assistance Educational Event "Managing for Long-Term Success" Wednesday, July 22, 2015 9:30 am until 12:30 pm OCC Headquarters 400 7th St. SW Washington, DC 20219 The OCC is pleased to host Dr. Leonard Greenhalgh, who will present "Managing for Long-Term Success." This free interactive session will review the major weaknesses that entrepreneurial businesses encounter. Participants will then learn how a thoughtful strategy positions their businesses to survive, prosper, and grow to scale in the public and private sectors. Finally, Dr. Greenhalgh will show how a disciplined approach to managing business ensures that the chosen strategy is implemented. Participants will be provided with tools to assess their own management situations. Register by e-mailing: registerOCCevent@occ.treas.gov Include: (1) name of each attendee; (2) company's name; and (3) company's DUNS number. Registration is free. Only persons registered will be allowed to attend. No name substitutions will be permitted. Registration must be received before July 15, 2015, at 5:00 pm ET. Registration confirmation and event directions will be provided in July. Due to limited space, we are only able to accept the first 300 registrations. Information on the Guest Speaker: Leonard Greenhalgh, Ph.D. Professor of Management Director, Programs for Minority- and Women-Owned Businesses Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College Dr. Greenhalgh's experience includes purchasing in a multinational corporation, entrepreneurship, and management consulting. He holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University, building on an MBA and undergraduate studies in engineering and science. The co-author of Minority Business Success: Refocusing on the American Dream (2011), Dr. Greenhalgh has also taught at Oxford University, Stanford University, and MIT. His areas of expertise include: **strategy and implementation; **the economies of inner cities and Indian reservations; **entrepreneurial business; **the effects of globalization and changing demographics on business.
