Description
AMENDMENT 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to provide responses to vendor submitted questions as follows: Q1. Is there an incumbent? If so, who is it? A1. There is no incumbent. Q2. Is there a line item on the invoice for overtime since the AMP personnel would work over eight (8) hours per shift? A2. Proposal should include projected overtime. Overtime is considered as hours exceeding 40 hours worked per week. Q3. Are the AMP personnel classified as Guard I or Guard II with respect to wage determination? A3. Not applicable. Q4. Is the required training specific to the duties at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard provided by the contractor? If so, what specific training is required? A4. Yes, classroom and lecture followed by practical hands on training. 2-5 days should be enough depending on prior experience. Q5. During training, who is responsible for the AMP personnel salaries? A5. Contractor should include training time in their proposal. Q6. How many AMP personnel are required per shift and how many posts need staffing? A6. One (1) person per shift and there is only one (1) post. Q7. Are the AMP personnel required to be uniformed? If so, is there a designated type of uniform? A7. No uniforms are required. Q8. Are there any contractor-furnished equipment requires? A8. There is no required contractor-furnished equipment. Q9. Can a retired Law enforcement officer from any other agency qualify. We currently provide similar services for the US Air force in Texas with retired law enforcement guards. A9. Yes, providing the individual can meet the qualifications and security clearance requirements. The hour and date specified for receipt of offers is not extended.
