Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. a. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. (SEE ATTACHED SOLICITATION). b. The Solicitation Number for this acquisition is W912BU-15-R-0025 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). c. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-78. Clauses and Provisions are available on line at HTTP://farsite.hill.af.mil. d. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set Aside; the NAICS code is 221310 and the Size Standard is $27.5 million. e. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Base Year plus 4-Option Years for the contractor to provide all necessary labor, services and materials for operation and maintenance of water distribution and sewage collection system for the Dry Brooks Day Use and Dry Brooks Boat Ramp Areas at Blue Marsh Lake (See the attached detailed solicitation). Award will be made on the basis of Low Price Technically Acceptable. The three evaluation factors that will be used in determining the most beneficial proposal to the government are: Cost/Price, Technical, and Past Performance f. The period of performance for Base Year and Option Years is as follows: Line item 0001 Base Year from 01 June 2015 to 14 April 2016. Operation of System. Work will be performed from 01 June 2015 to 15 October 2015. Line item 0002 Base Year from 01 June 2015 to 14 April 2016. Emergency Call-Out. Work will be performed from 01 June 2015 to 15 October 2015. Line item 0003 Option Year 1 from 15 April 2016 to 14 April 2017. Operation of System. Work will be performed from 15 April 2016 to 15 October 2016. Line item 0004 Option Year 1 from 15 April 2016 to 14 April 2017. Emergency Call-Out. Work will be performed from 15 April 2016 to 15 October 2016. Line item 0005 Option Year 2 from 15 April 2017 to 14 April 2018. Operation of System. Work will be performed from 15 April 2017 to 15 October 2017. Line item 0006 Option Year 2 from 15 April 2017 to 14 April 2018. Emergency Call-Out. Work will be performed from 15 April 2019 to 15 October 2019. g. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-78.
